Avocado is thought to have originated in south-central Mexico. It is cultivated in tropical and Mediterranean climate across the world. Avocado contains a wide variety of fats. About 75% of an avocado’s energy comes from fat, out of which 67% of total fat is monounsaturated fat as oleic acid. Monounsaturated fat also called as good fat is very healthy for your body. It helps in lowering cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
